Trainer’s Room: Redskins’ RB Curse? Ladell Betts Out for Season (ACL,MCL)

Ladell Betts owners can’t catch a break. Â In this case not only is Betts out for the remainder of this season, following yesterday’s knee injury (ACL & MCL tear) it could cost him part of next season as well.
After seeing the risks associated with bringing back Brian Westbrook early from a concussion, look for the Skins to keep Portis on the sidelines for at least another two weeks. Â This will give the waiver savvy owner two weeks of “found points”.
