Spring Training Performances: Top Prospects

Yesterday’s Spring Training games were a mix of Major League clubs vs. WBC Teams, and traditional inter-league games. Â The cumulative stats for WBC related games are accounted for differently than the normal spring training stats, which is why there is a N/A in the column for Avg and ERA, so as not to “skew” the numbers.

Other key prospects, Pedro Alvarez, Cameron Maybin and Juan Francisco went hitless on the day. Â Dexter Fowler, and Mat Gamel went hitless in pinch hitting roles yesterday, while Yonder Alonso drew a walk and scored for Cincinnati.
