Fantasy Football Stockwatch: Chiefs’ WR Dwayne Bowe Suspended 4 Games (Steroid Policy Violation)

4 games...seriously?

4 games...seriously?

Do you think Chiefs’ General Manager Scott Pioli is having second thoughts about leaving New England?

Today, the Chiefs announced that their #1 Wideout Dwayne Bowe will be suspended 4 games for violating the league’s steroid policy.

The suspension will start immediately, and will have him returning to the Chiefs for the last three games of the 2009 season.

There is no indication whether Bowe tested positive this season, last season, or was found to possess a banned substance over the last year.  However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Bowe admitted use of a diuretic during training camp to assist in losing weight.

Chris Chambers is looking more and more like the only “go-to” in the Chiefs offense.

    Jacob:

No one really knows what happened. He violated the Steroid policy which I clearly outlined in the post. Whether he took it or possessed it, he has exhausted all appeals and will be suspended.

    Thanks for the comment.
