The grumblings about Orioles’ top pitching prospect Chris Tillman joining the big league club next week have reached a roar.  Word is that O’s General Manager Andy MacPhail would like to wait until the end of their AL East roadtrip—finishing with a 3-game weekend series this weekend in Boston—before promoting the young right hander.

Troubled starter Rich Hill is currently scheduled to start on Monday at home against Kansas City, which would be the spot in the rotation that Tillman would most likely occupy come Monday morning.

To get a refresher on Keeper League GM’s #7 Pitching prospect, please check out our Top Prospects’ on the Farm profile of Chris Tillman from earlier in the season.

Tillman is a must-own in all Keeper Leagues and should watched closely by Traditional and Roto GM’s, as he has the abillity to be a difference maker/spoiler down the stretch for the O’s.
