headshotMike Caprio, General Manager, Editor in Chief:

Mike has been a Fantasy Baseball and Fantasy Football veteran for over 15 years.  Joining AOL’s first message board-based fantasy league in 1994, Mike began parlaying his love for sports into managing his own franchises online against players all over the World.

His desire to create an evergreen and multi-year fantasy league was realized over 5 years ago when Mike and fellow Keeper League GM contributors Joe Buccellato and Chuck Omphalius started their first Fantasy Baseball Keeper League in 2002.

Currently in 4 Fantasy Baseball Leagues and 3 Dynasty Keeper Football Leagues, Mike developed Keeper League GM to quench the thirst for information for legions of Keeper League General Managers all over the globe.

Mike lives in Wyckoff, NJ, with his beautiful and talented girlfriend Sarah Vining and their golden retriever Cassie.

He currently works full-time as Senior Vice President of Sales at DG Fastchannel, Inc., an Advertising Technology company focused on industry content distribution and allocation solutions, and serves as a director for Wired Trust, Inc., an Internet privacy and security consulting company headquartered in New Brunswick, Canada.

Joe Buccellato Keeper League GMJoe Buccellato, Contributor, Fantasy Keeper League Football

Joe’s passion lies in Fantasy Football.  He has been a progressive innovator in developing Fantasy Keeper league strategies and league development, serving as Commissioner in several leagues for over a decade.  Joe was one of the first Commissioners to petition online league host MyFantasyLeague.com to add Offensive Line statistics,  creating  a new category for fantasy competition.  Year round Joe can be counted on as a steady contributor to our Fantasy Keeper League Football section, even during the heart of baseball season.

Joe lives in Northwest New Jersey with his lovely wife Donna, his three dogs, and three cats (one imaginary), while passionately rooting for his Seattle Seahawks, and lobbying to anyone who will listen, the benefits of IDP (Individual Defensive Player) scoring.
